Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Robbery -- A woman, 31, was attempting to flag down a cab in the 200 block of W. North Ave. about 11 p.m. Wednesday when she decided to walk. In the 1000 block of N. Howard St., she was grabbed from behind by a man armed with a handgun who threw her to the ground while demanding her money. When the woman said she had none, the man told her he saw her trying to catch a cab and knew she had money. While assaulting the woman, the man stole her purse containing $30 before fleeing.


Burglary -- Cash, eight cartons of cigarettes and two small buckets containing change - all valued at $345.12 - were stolen from Solo Variety in the 1100 block of W. Baltimore St. between Wednesday and Thursday by someone who entered through a second-floor window.

Burglary -- A keyboard, a .45-caliber Ruger semiautoatic handgun and ammunition were stolen Thursday from a closet in a house in the 3500 block of Woodbrook Ave. by someone who entered through the front door.

Stabbing -- A woman allegedly stabbed her 21-year-old boyfriend in the right hand with a meat fork during an argument in their home in the 2400 block of Lauretta Ave. about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. Arrested and charged with aggravated assault was Moniqua Burnell, 21. The man was treated at the scene.


Robbery -- Two men, one armed with a semiautomatic handgun, robbed Kwik Connects in the 200 block of S. Broadway about 5 p.m. Thursday of an undisclosed sum of money and two bracelets.

Stolen vehicle -- A green 4-door 2005 Cadillac with tags 1AH T78 was stolen Thursday in the 700 block of S. Glover St.

Stolen vehicle -- Police were seeking a 4-door tan 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier with tags 737 83Y that was stolen between Wednesday and Thursday in the 3700 block of E. Pratt St.


Burglary -- Silverware and jewelry - all valued at $4,400 - were stolen from a house in the first block of E. Lake Ave. between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday by someone who entered through the front door.

Baltimore County

White Marsh

Burglary -- A 2006 Honda 250-EX all-terrain vehicle was stolen between Wednesday and Thursday from the rear yard of a house in the 8900 block of Lennings Lane.


Stolen vehicle -- A white 2003 Ford Expedition with tags 89M938 was stolen Wednesday in the 4700 block of Creekside Court. The theft was reported Thursday.


Robbery -- A woman 40, was walking in the 8600 block of Gray Fox Road about 9 p.m. Thursday when two men, one with a handgun robbed her of her purse containing cash, and keys - all valued at $69.
