Shootings -- Police were seeking two unidentified men in the shootings Thursday night of two men. Police responding to a man, 19, found shot in the lower back in the 1400 block of W. Pratt St. about 9 p.m. were tending to the victim when they learned that another man, 40, had been found shot in the face at West Lombard and Gilmor streets, a few blocks away. Police said it appeared a shotgun was used in the shootings. Both men were treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center and were expected to survive. Shooting -- A woman, 39, was shot in the lower leg about 10:40 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of N. Fulton Ave. and was taken for Maryland General Hospital for treatment. Details were not available.
Arrest -- Augustus Roberts, 24, of the 2000 block of Eutaw Place, was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 200 block of E. Fayette St. by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Roberts is charged with shooting a man March 18 in the 2700 block of St. Lo Drive and was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center.
Driver sought -- Police were seeking the driver of a silver 4-door sedan of unknown make who struck a 15-year-old girl in the 5700 block of York Road about 4 p.m. Thursday and failed to stop. The girl suffered multiple fractures and was admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital. The car should have front-end damage. Robbery -- A woman, 27, was walking in the 200 block of E. Eager St. about 12:30 a.m. Thursday when she was assaulted by a man who stole her purse containing $250 and personal property. The woman reported the robbery nearly nine hours later.
Theft -- While firefighters assigned to Truck Company 15 in the 1200 block of N. Montford Ave. were responding to an emergency about 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, someone broke into a firefighter's 2002 Ford pickup truck parked behind the station and stole tools of unknown value.
Burglary -- Someone broke into Gia's Cafe in the 400 block of High St. Wednesday and stole an undisclosed sum of money and helped himself to hot chocolate.
Robbery -- A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed High's dairy store in the 8400 block of Oakleigh Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 9:15 p.m. Thursday.
