The lowdown -- Girl Talk, aka Gregg Gillis, is known for bringing together samples of recent pop hits, '80s tracks and everything in between. Tomorrow, he comes to the Ottobar. His sometimes-frantic, always-entertaining live performances will make you hear some of your favorite songs in an entirely new way. Baltimore's uber-energetic electronica artist Dan Deacon and laptop MC Cex open.

The lowdown -- With an Ozzfest main stage tour and a Grammy nomination, Shadows Fall is becoming a formidable force in the hardcore and metal worlds. This week, it released its major label debut on Atlantic Records. Tuesday, the band comes to Rams Head Live as part of the Jagermeister Music Tour. Other bands on the tour are Stone Sour, Unbroken and Lacuna Coil.
