'Dining with Docs' set for Wednesday

Upper Chesapeake Health will hold a "Dining with Docs" dinner, lecture and discussion at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center's Chesapeake Conference Center.

Dr. Burke Haskins, board certified in orthopedic surgery, will discuss "Osteoarthritis and You." Osteoarthritis is a chronic disease leading to pain and stiffness, and hindering physical activity.

The cost is $5 (cash only). Reservations are required.

Prostate cancer support group

Upper Chesapeake Medical Center will hold a "Man to Man Prostate Support Group" at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Fallston Room.

Men who have received prostate cancer diagnoses and their families are welcome.

Support group for caregivers

Upper Chesapeake Health will hold an eight-week support group for parents and family caregivers of children ages 1-21 who have died suddenly or traumatically.

There must be at least six months between the date of the child's death and the start of the group. Eight participants will be accepted.

The group will meet at 7 p.m. Mondays from April 9 to June 4 (except Memorial Day) at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.

Program April 10 for cancer patients

The American Cancer Society is sponsoring "Look Good, Feel Better" for cancer patients from 6 to 8 p.m. April 10 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.

The program provides makeup and hair techniques to combat the effects of treatment.
