Dr. Jules J. Levin, a retired dentist, died March 20 of complications from Parkinson's disease at his Pikesville home. He was 75.
Born in Baltimore and raised in Mount Washington, he was a 1948 City College graduate and earned a psychology degree at Western Maryland College, now McDaniel College. He then received a degree from the University of Maryland Dental School.
He served in the U.S. Public Health Service and worked at Coast Guard stations in Cape May, N.J., and New London, Conn.
In 1958, he returned to Baltimore and joined his father's dental practice at 5320 Park Heights Ave. Dr. Levin practiced until 1992, when he retired after developing Parkinson's disease.
In his free time, Dr. Levin traveled widely.
Services were held Friday in Pikesville.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, the former Alice Schechter; three sons, Dr. Roger P. Levin of Stevenson, Barry F. Levin of Owings Mills and Steven M. Levin of Reisterstown; and five grandchildren.
