MGH has appointed Daphne Swancutt as vice president and marketing director, Michael Hrizuk as senior art director and Lance Nickel as interactive designer for the Owings Mills-based marketing communications agency.


The Columbia Bank promoted Tim Macek to vice president, retail banking administration, and named Brandt Rider vice president and manager of the Ellicott City branch.

SunTrust Bank, Maryland appointed Trisha L. Olfers as vice president and manager of its Bel Air branch and named Amanda Adams and Jonathan Holloway as assistant vice presidents in the commercial division. Also, Joel Amani and Jerrel Duffy Jr. were named business banking officers in the retail division.


Shapiro Sher Guinot & Sandler selected Arianne H. Monroe, Scott W. Foley, Paula D. Miller and Benjamin L. Polakoff as partners in the Baltimore/Washington law firm.

Gorman & Williams admitted Ryan A. Burch to the business and civil litigation unit of the Baltimore-based regional law firm.


Adhesives Research Inc. promoted George Stolakis to vice president and general manager of its ARcare division in Glen Rock, Pa.


Marshall Craft Associates Inc. said Bethany Ziman joined the Baltimore architectural, planning and design firm as the director of interior design for health care projects.

Clifton Gunderson named Lisbet Zulkifl as a senior associate and Olu Ogundeyin an associate at the Baltimore office of the accounting firm.

Sudina Search, located in Timonium, appointed Susan Slagle, Ed Berman and Joan Sweeney as directors of accounting.

The Shapiro Co. said Stephanie Harris Jackman joined the staff as an associate. The Baltimore real estate services firm promoted Andrew Farrell and Steve Johnston as senior associates.
