SunTrust Bank, Maryland has appointed Melissa Mauldin as vice president of its sales and marketing group. The regional bank also named Upinder Chandhok and Brian David Knauer as assistant vice presidents and Marlon E. Gittens as a bank officer. CitiFinancial appointed Harry Bosk to its staff as community relations manager. He will manage volunteer initiatives and the financial literacy program.


Miles & Stockbridge PC said J. Michael Brennan, Sandra L. Howard, Charles E. Rosolio and Theresa J. Withers-Williams have joined the Baltimore-based regional law firm. The four-lawyer team, formerly with Venable LLP, will focus on business and real estate law.


Proxy Aviation Systems announced that Jim Carter joined the Germantown-headquartered maker of unmanned aircraft systems as director of business development.

On the board

Celsion Corp., a developer of oncology drugs, based in Columbia, elected Augustine Chow to fill a newly created seventh post on its board of directors.


The Baltimore Sun recently announced the appointment of Erik A. Smist to vice president and chief financial officer; he was formerly the publishing company's controller. Also, Linda Hastings was named vice president, advertising. She most recently was the publisher of a free newspaper in San Diego.


Harborside Sales Group appointed Jennifer H. McDonnell senior vice president and head of national accounts for the Baltimore-based distribution consulting firm.

Naden/Lean LLC named Howard Goldberg a senior accountant and Audrey Askew and Kathryn Kleinhen as supervisors at the Timonium accounting firm.

Kittleson & Associates announced the selection of Ed Myers, manager of the international engineering and planning firm's Baltimore office, as a shareholder in the company.

Manekin Construction LLC, based in Columbia, has chosen M.J. Wiles as a project manager.

Real estate

Manekin LLC appointed Nina Yannuzzi as a senior leasing administrator in the asset management division of the Columbia-headquartered development firm.
