Western
Attempted burglary -- Someone broke into B&G; Liquors in the 1500 block of W. Baltimore St. about 2:50 a.m. Wednesday by cutting a hole through the building's rear wall. An officer in the area heard the store's alarm but was unable to find the would-be intruder. The owner said nothing was taken.
Burglary -- Someone stole a DVD player from a home in the 1800 block of Thomas Ave. between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The thief broke a rear glass window to gain entry.
Northwestern
Stolen vehicle -- A burgundy 1994 Dodge Caravan was stolen from the 3900 block of Grantley Road between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday. It had Maryland tags 236M229.
Burglary -- Someone stole two aluminum ladders from a garage in the 5300 block of Cordelia Ave. in a daytime theft Thursday. Entry was gained by forcing open the garage door.
Baltimore County
Cockeysville
Burglary -- Someone entered a home in the 10500 block of Blue Bell Way between 3 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and stole a Nintendo Wi, three game discs and a backpack.
White Marsh
Burglary -- Someone broke into four homes under construction in the 9600 block of Bird River Road between 6 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday, breaking a toilet and bathroom tiling and stealing $200 worth of copper wiring.
