The fifth-seeded Lady Pirates (15-13) were down by as many as 12, but had no answer for Johnson, who scored seven straight points during an 8-2 run by Morgan State.

Hampton was able to pull close during the game's final minutes, cutting the lead to three after a 6-2 run. However, it wasn't enough as Shalane Price sealed the victory for the Lady Bears at the free-throw line.
