Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.
Shooting -- Police were seeking two men in the shooting of two others outside Club Ten Ultra Lounge in the first block of S. Calvert St. early Monday. One of the victims, Kevin Covington, 27, was sitting in a parked car on the south side of the 100 block of E. Redwood St. about 2 a.m. when the assailants approached and began shooting. Covington was struck in the left hip. The other victim, whose name was not released, was walking on Calvert Street with his brother and was struck in the chest. Both victims were treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Assault -- Edward James Matczuk Jr., 22, of Upper Glencoe told police he stepped between two men who were fighting outside Cheerleaders in the 700 block of S. Broadway about 1:50 a.m. Monday and was struck in the face with a beer bottle by a third man. He suffered a cut lip and lost three teeth.
Robbery/arrest -- A 25-year-old woman was arrested Monday night and a man was being sought in connection with the assault and robbery of a 50-year-old man who was walking in the 2900 block of E. Baltimore St. The woman was seen taking something from the victim's pocket as he was being attacked by the male assailant about 8:45 p.m. The victim was treated at a hospital.
Armed robbery/arrest -- A 20-year-old woman entered Big Daddy's Beauty Salon in the 200 block of Back River Neck Road about noon Monday wielding a knife and demanding cash. When the manager did not comply, she began striking the cash register with the knife, damaging the machine. When the register did not open, she grabbed jewelry from a display and fled on foot. She was arrested minutes later a few blocks away.
