Blast moves into tie for first place

Playing on consecutive nights and hampered by injuries, the Blast showed few signs of fatigue last night against California, beating the Cougars, 14-9, before 7,826 at 1st Mariner Arena.

The win moved the Blast into a tie for first place in the Major Indoor Soccer League with the Detroit Ignition and improved the league's longest winning streak this season to seven.
