Terps can thank loss, not win, for revival

Maryland coach Gary Williams has pointed to the final frenzied moments of the Terps' 69-65 loss to Virginia on Feb. 6 at Comcast Center as a pivotal point for a program that has made a remarkable turnaround. Trailing by as many as 15 points in the second half, the relentless Terps cut their deficit to one with 13 seconds remaining, but still fell short.
