The Paradox

The Paradox, known simply as the Dox to those who frequent the storage-place-turned-club, provides a heart-pounding all-nighter experience.

Where -- 1310 Russell St.

Call -- 410-837-9110

Web site -- thedox.com

Notable -- Most of the Dox's patrons fall a few years shy of the legal drinking age. For those of age, the club has a B.Y.O.B. policy.

Vibe -- Upbeat. With outrageously loud speakers, black lights and an industrial atmosphere, the Dox is a place for unbridled fun.

Crowd -- Young adults. Because of the discount with college IDs, there are usually a good number of undergrads letting off some steam.

What to wear -- From T-shirts emblazoned with Ed Hardy graphics to leggings and peep-toe stilettos, anything is acceptable as long as it's urban chic.

Music -- Local DJs such as Supa DJ Big L spin the hottest hip-hop, reggae and, of course, the best of homegrown Baltimore club music. For more show information, go to thedox.com.
