Police Blotter

Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.




Robbery -- A 33-year-old woman was walking in the 1200 block of N. Clinton St. about 2 a.m. yesterday when a man came from the rear and ripped from her shoulder a purse containing $200, a digital camera and identification.



Burglary -- Someone broke into an apartment in the 200 block of W. Lombard St. between Friday and Saturday, ransacked rooms and stole several pieces of jewelry and a digital camera. The property was valued at $4,000.


Assault -- Several men were fighting outside a club in the 2000 block of Harford Road shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday when one of them was slashed with a box cutter. The victim, 23, was taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital but walked out during treatment in the emergency room.

Stabbing -- A 32-year-old man and woman were arguing in their home in the 1700 block of Guilford Ave. about 3 a.m. Saturday when the woman stabbed the man in the back with a knife. Arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon was Deveral Singletary. The man was reported in good condition at an area hospital.

Baltimore County


Burglary -- Someone entered a house under construction in the 9000 block of Biggs Road over the weekend and stole a dishwasher valued at $275.



Burglary -- Carpentry tools of unknown value were stolen over the weekend from a garage in the 3200 block of Mount Carmel Road.


Robbery -- A man entered Payless ShoeSource in the 9600 block of Reisterstown Road about 5 p.m. Saturday and ordered an employee to give him the contents of the cash register while implying he was armed with a handgun. The man fled with less than $200.
