Technical job fair scheduled Wed.

The Maryland Department of Labor and Licensing and Fort Meade MWR will hold a technical job fair at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Fort Meade Outreach Center, 6600 Mapes Road.

Job-seekers who are not employed by the Department of Defense must enter the installation at the Reece Road gate (main gate), off Route 175.

Job-seekers who do not have a Department of Defense vehicle decal must have a valid driver's license, current vehicle registration and proof of vehicle insurance.

Tech Council to host panel discussion

The Anne Arundel Tech Council will host "Hot Markets: Telecom, VOIP and Wireless," a panel discussion designed to encourage an interactive dialogue on the latest advancements and future of technological issues.

The panel discussion will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 13 at Force 3 Headquarters, 2151 Priest Bridge Drive, Crofton. The cost is $35 for members, $50 for nonmembers.

Bay foundation elects chairman

D. Keith Campbell has been elected chairman of the board of trustees of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, which provides governance and direction to the organization. The Timonium resident is owner of Campbell and Co., and founder of the Keith Campbell Foundation for the Environment.

Lawyers will speak to groups for free
