Burglary -- Someone broke into New Mount Joy Missionary Baptist Church in the 1700 block of Division St. over the weekend and stole a bucket containing an undisclosed sum of money collected for charity.

Southeastern

Robbery -- A man placed several cigars on the counter at the 7-Eleven in the 100 block of S. Broadway about 2:20 a.m. Saturday, then displayed a handgun when the clerk opened the cash register to make the sale. The gunman fled with $60 and the cigars.

Robbery -- A 21-year-old man was walking in the 100 block of N. Dallas St. about 8:20 p.m. Friday when a gunman robbed him of a cell phone, $40 and cigars.

Robbery -- Police were seeking a man who robbed a 24-year-old woman of her purse containing $40 and a cell phone valued at $200 as she and another woman walked in the 800 block of S. Kenwood Ave. about 2 a.m. Saturday.

Northern

Assault -- A 21-year-old man was talking to two other men in the 800 block of W. 36th St. about 9:30 p.m. Saturday when one of the pair pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the chest. The victim was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Robbery -- Several males attacked a 17-year-old boy outside Skateland Towson in the 8800 block of Orchard Tree Lane about 11:30 p.m. Friday, knocked him to the ground and robbed him of money and a radio.

Franklin

Burglary -- Several pieces of jewelry and two pairs of eyeglasses - all worth at least $1,000 - were stolen over the weekend from the bedroom of an apartment in the 100 block of Carraway Road.

Pikesville

Robbery -- A 42-year-old man was standing at a bus stop in the 6800 block of Liberty Road at St. Lukes Lane about 5 a.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed him of a bus pass and $270. The gunman fled in a car driven by another man.
