BENJAMIN F. HOLMAN, 76 Reporter, professor
Benjamin F. Holman, a newspaper and television reporter who later worked for the Justice Department and as a University of Maryland journalism professor, died Saturday of complications from emphysema and congestive heart failure. In 1969, President Richard M. Nixon named him head of community relations at the Justice Department, a post he held for eight years. He joined the UM's journalism faculty in 1978, and was acting dean from 1980 to 1981.
