Out of pocket, Manning could cost Pats

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Just because he threw an NFL-record 49 touchdown passes in 2004 and is in the process of rewriting the record books on his way to the Hall of Fame, Peyton Manning isn't perfect.

If he had one fault, it was that Manning wasn't especially good at ad-libbing on the field, especially when protection broke down and he was forced to throw on the run.

Patriots@Colts AFC championship game, Sunday, 6:30 p.m., chs. 13, 9 Line: Colts by 3
