Eastern

Arrest -- Donte Ferguson, 17, of the 2000 block of W. North Ave. was arrested over the weekend in the 1700 block of Edmondson Ave. by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him as an adult with attempted murder. Ferguson is accused of shooting a 16-year-old boy Dec. 18 in the 2400 block of Llewelyn Ave.

Northeastern

Arrest -- Police arrested Martines Harris, 18, of the 3100 block of Lawnview Ave. early Monday on Elmora Avenue on a warrant charging him with robbing a woman Oct. 21 in the 4600 block of Chatford Ave.

Arrest -- Kevin Marc Kelly, 45, of the 700 block of Exeter Hall Ave. was arrested Monday at a home in the 2800 block of Clifton Park Terrace by members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with child abuse. Kelly is accused of fondling a girl at an undisclosed location Nov. 11.

Western

Assault -- A 17-year-old girl was arguing with a woman in the 1600 block of Thomas Ave. about 8:30 p.m. Monday when the woman threw bleach into the face of the teenager, causing burns to her face and head. The victim was treated at Bon Secours Hospital. No arrest had been made.

Robbery try -- Police were seeking several males who attacked a 41-year-old man in the 1500 block of N. Fulton Ave. about 10:15 p.m. Monday, striking - but not stabbing - him with a knife and hitting him with what appeared to be a handgun in an unsuccessful robbery attempt.

Assault -- A 26-year-old man was walking in the 800 block of W. Lexington St. about 7:30 p.m. Monday when he was attacked by several other males, one of whom cut him on a hand and both arms with an unknown weapon. The victim was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center and released.

White Marsh

Drug arrest -- Two Virginia men were arrested Saturday by Maryland Transportation Authority Police and charged with drug violations after the driver of the rented car in which they were traveling was stopped for speeding on southbound Interstate 95 in White Marsh. After police smelled burning marijuana coming from the 2007 Chevrolet, they searched the vehicle and found 80 grams of cocaine hidden under the console and wrapped in layers of plastic covered with grease. Police said the grease was used in an attempt to prevent detection of the cocaine by a drug-sniffing dog. Charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of marijuana were Charles Henry Wright Jr., 28, and Mikon Alexander Jones, 28, both of Dale City. They were being held at the county detention center in Towson on $500,000 bail each.

North Point

Theft -- Two men were detained Monday after a security officer at Value City in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd. observed them stealing clothing valued at $210. The men, 18 and 25, were released after providing identification. Police said the store was expected to prosecute the pair.

Cockeysville

Burglaries -- Over the weekend, two rooms at Extended Stay in the 9700 block of Beaver Dam Road were broken into by someone forcing a door. Stolen from one room were video games and a laptop computer. Removed from the other room were several T-shirts, chewing tobacco, video games, a DVD player and 13 DVDs.
