Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.




Assault/arrest -- Quinshawna Robinson, 22, was walking in the 300 block of W. Fayette St. with a friend about 1:30 a.m. Saturday when she became involved in a confrontation with a man standing at a bus stop. The man pulled a drywall knife and inflicted deep cuts on Robinson's head and face. The woman's friend called police, who said the attack was picked up by a law enforcement surveillance camera. A short time later, Frank Davis, 38, of the 1600 block of N. Eutaw Place was arrested nearby and charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault. Robinson was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center and released. Police recovered the knife. Davis is being held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center.


Robbery -- A 47-year-old woman was walking in the first block of N. Howard St. about 4 p.m. Saturday when a man stole her purse.


Armed robberies -- A 40-year-old woman was walking in the 3100 block of Barclay St. about 11:50 p.m. Sunday when a gunman robbed her of $10 and a cell phone. Police also were seeking a gunman who robbed a man of $65 and a cell phone in the 3100 block of Old York Road about 11:10 p.m. Sunday in an unrelated crime.


Burglary -- Someone broke into a house in the 1800 block of Moreland Ave. over the weekend and stole a 13-inch TV valued at $300.

Robbery -- An 18-year-old walking in the 1800 block of N. Gilmor St. about 11 p.m. Saturday was assaulted by several young men who robbed him of two cell phones and $18.

Burglary -- Clothing and jewelry of unknown value were stolen over the weekend from Fouta Clothing in the 2700 block of Pennsylvania Ave.



Robbery -- Two young men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a 26-year-old man of $65 in the 1400 block of E. Baltimore St. about 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Purse snatch -- Two women were walking in the 700 block of S. Linwood Ave. about 2 a.m. Saturday when a man stole from one of them a purse with a small sum of money.

Baltimore County


Armed robbery/arrest -- A 33-year-old man was in the 100 block of Middle River Road about 11:50 p.m. Saturday when a male teenager with a handgun and an older female accomplice robbed him of $50. Arrested a short time later and charged with armed robbery was Nicoya Chavis, 18, of the 8600 block of Willow Oak Road in Parkville. A warrant was issued for a male suspect.

Robbery -- An 18-year-old was outside his car at Dorsey and Taylor avenues about 12:15 a.m. Sunday when two males, one with a handgun, robbed him of a cell phone valued at more than $100.



Burglary -- Clothing and a laptop computer were stolen over the weekend from a ground-level apartment in the first block of Liberty Place.


Burglary -- A digital camera and laptop computer were stolen over the weekend from a house in the first block of Brookings Court. They were valued at $1,600.


Burglary -- Someone broke into a house in the 1600 block of Pot Spring Road through an unlocked rear door Saturday and stole a radio, jewelry, a 15-inch TV and two pillowcases.



Robbery/arrests -- School resources Officer Matthew Kohel was returning to the precinct about 2:30 p.m. Thursday when he was flagged down by a 17-year-old who said he had been robbed of his cell phone by two boys on Fifth St. Moments later, two 16-year-olds were arrested and charged as juveniles with robbery. The phone was recovered.

Burglary -- Police were seeking two males who entered a house in the 300 block of Holly Manor Road early Friday and stole several video games and 30 DVDs - all valued at $900.


Burglary -- A large-screen TV and laptop computer were stolen over the weekend from an apartment in the 2300 block of Rogate Circle. They were valued at almost $4,000.
