Newsletter tells ways to keep kids healthy
The Anne Arundel County Department of health is offering tips for preventing the spread of diseases and keeping kids healthy.
The current issue of Building Blocks, the department's free newsletter, urges regular hand washing, getting enough sleep and healthy eating. The newsletter also discusses what to do in the case of a flu outbreak and when you should keep your sick child home from day care or school. There's also an insert with a recipe for chicken soup. To request the newsletter, call the Learn to Live Line at 410-222-7979 or download the newsletter from www.aahealth.org.
