Calendars raise funds for St. John

St. John Catholic School's seventh-grade students led a fundraiser in Westminster to support the computer lab and help pay for classroom computer improvements throughout the school.

The students created a St. John calendar, and each grade was assigned one month for which one student's artwork would be displayed for that month.

Within each month, students, parents, teachers and others could "purchase a day" and wish happy birthday, anniversary or other occassions.

The entire school pitched in to raise more than $10,000.

The calendars are available for $15.
