The lowdown -- Local rock 'n' rollers J-Roddy Walston and the Business play the Ottobar tomorrow. Walston moved to the city a couple of years ago, added a few Baltimore musicians to the lineup and recently recorded a debut album, Hail Megaboys. Right now, they're looking for a label to officially release Megaboys. Indie rockers the Capital Years and Deleted Scenes join in the fun.

The lowdown -- The cast members of Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad skewer Jewish stereotypes with hilarious, poignant performances. The Sunday show, at Creative Alliance, is part burlesque, part standup and part musical.

The lowdown -- Saturday, a handful of talented local bands will perform at the Waterfront Hotel. Matt Rocks opens the night with some covers, followed by the Lucky Few, Americana group the Pale Stars and power pop outfit Splitsville. The Pale Stars, fronted by guitarist and singer Brandt Huseman, put out their debut album about a year ago. Huseman and his brother Matt are both members of Splitsville.
