Redskins come up short

The Baltimore Sun

LANDOVER -- The Washington Redskins watched second-year quarterback Jason Campbell recover from a horrendous first half yesterday against the Philadelphia Eagles at FedEx Field and continued to witness the emergence of Ladell Betts as their featured running back.

Together, Campbell and Betts helped the Redskins amass 415 yards of offense that included a 40-yard flea flicker from former college quarterback Antwaan Randle El to Brandon Lloyd that nearly set up a go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter.
