Victim identified -- Rassam Jones, 22, of the 1300 block of Madison Ave. was identified as the man who was fatally shot about 1 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of W. Lafayette Ave. No arrest had been made.
Thefts -- A digital camera valued at $250 and a cell phone valued at $150 were stolen from two unattended purses early Sunday at Luna del Sea Club in the 300 block of W. Pratt St.
Southern
Shooting -- A 15-year-old boy was grazed in the chest when an unknown male he had been talking to pulled out a gun and fired several shots about 9:40 p.m. Sunday in the 2200 block of Sidney Ave. The boy was treated and released.
Western
Robbery try/cutting -- A 21-year-old man was in a carryout in the 600 block of N. Monroe St. about 1 a.m. Sunday when he was cut on the left shoulder and bitten on the right arm by a man who tried to rob him. The victim was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center.
Baltimore County
White Marsh
Drug arrest -- Maryland Transportation Authority Police stopped a 1988 Ford sedan on northbound Interstate 95 near the Beltway on Sunday for excessive window tinting and noticed the odor of marijuana. During a search, police found nearly 6 ounces of marijuana and two weapons, a knife and a baton. Charged with possession with intent to distribute and possession of deadly weapons was Cory A. Colie, 18, of the first block of Alder Drive in Middle River.
Pikesville
Robberies -- A man armed with a shotgun entered a room at Ramada Inn in the 1700 block of Reisterstown Road about 11 p.m. Saturday and robbed three occupants of their cell phones and Christmas gifts.
North Point
Carjacking -- A 31-year-old man was about to step from his 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck in the 7800 block of Wise Ave. about 7 p.m. Sunday when he was pulled from the vehicle by two men who robbed him of jewelry valued at $583 and took the vehicle with tags 04R 203.
