Lance Reddick is ready to play the leading man in a hit movie. The Baltimore native, who graduated from Friends School, thinks it's his time. Fans of The Wire who watch him portray Maj. Cedric Daniels would certainly agree. But for now, he's in Los Angeles, loving the weather and laying down tracks for a debut CD. He won't return to Baltimore until the spring. Maybe by then he'll have new wheels and a blockbuster role.

2. Season Three of The Justice League on DVD "I've been a comic book fan since I was in high school, and this animated series did -- excuse the pun -- justice to the genre."

5. Fifth season of The Sopranos on DVD "I never really wanted to watch it. I had preconceived notions about the stereotypes and Hollywood's obsession with the Mafia. But after the first season of The Wire, I got an invitation to the third season premiere of The Sopranos. I thought, oh my gosh, this is so good. I was hooked and then went and watched the first two seasons back-to-back."
