The Baltimore Sun

No. 1 Ohio State@No. 13 Iowa

Where -- Iowa City, Iowa

Kickoff -- 8 p.m.

TV -- Ch. 2

Outlook -- Ohio State's sluggish performance during a 28-6 win over Penn State on Saturday would seem to be good news for Iowa. Of course, the Hawkeyes haven't been wowing anyone, either - their best win came at home against Iowa State, and they needed a late defensive stand to survive at Syracuse.

Alabama@No. 5 Florida

Where -- Gainesville, Fla.

Kickoff -- 3:30 p.m.

TV -- Ch. 13

Outlook -- After an easy 26-7 win over Kentucky, the Gators host Alabama and LSU, then go to Auburn before finishing with the rivalry game with Georgia. The Tide could use a lift after an extra point decided its loss to Arkansas last week, but don't expect it from a Florida team remembering a 31-3 loss in Tuscaloosa last year.

No. 22 Boise State@Utah

Where -- Salt Lake City

Kickoff -- 3 p.m.

TV -- Versus (formerly OLN)

Outlook -- Boise State (Western Athletic Conference) is the first of two mid-major BCS contender Utah (Mountain West) will face in the next seven days, with Texas Christian coming next. Utah defensive back Eric Weddle earned national player of the week honors with three interceptions against San Diego State, two of them going for touchdowns, while also running for another touchdown.

No. 24 Georgia Tech@No. 11 Virginia Tech

Where -- Blacksburg, Va.

Kickoff -- 3:30 p.m.

TV -- Ch. 2

Outlook -- Is Virginia Tech a legitimate top 15 team? Tomorrow would be a good day to start proving it. The Hokies have faced Division I-AA Northeastern, Duke, North Carolina and Cincinnati. After scrambling at home to beat Cincinnati, Virginia Tech finds its first test against Georgia Tech, a team making its first road trip of the season.
