Acquisitions
CompuDyne Corp., an Annapolis-based security products company, acquired Signami LLC, a provider of collection and analysis software and hardware, based in Severna Park. The new acquisition will be teamed with the firm's Data Control Systems division and operate under the name Signami DCS.
New contract
PelicanMobile, a division of Tactical Solutions Partners Inc. of Glen Burnie, received a contract from the Maryland State Highway Administration for $245,000 to provide mobile communications equipment.
New clients
Merkle/Domain, based in Lanham, signed a five-year agreement with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to act as its marketing agent.

Easter Seals of Greater Washington-Baltimore Region named Steve Bartlett, president of the Financial Services Roundtable and a former Texas congressman, as chairman of its board effective Sept. 1. New board members are J. David Hoppe, Frank R. Borchert III and Aaro Jean Bell-Reid.
