SARA (Byler) STAUFFER, 90, formerly of Freeland, MD and Harrisburg died Saturday July 29, 2006 in Bethany Village, Upper Allen Twp. She was a retired registered nurse and a former Acting Director of Nurses for Philadelphia General Hospital; a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she received her B.S. in Nursing Education, and John Harris High School, Harrisburg. She was a member of Camp Hill United Methodist Church and numerous nursing organizations. Mrs. Stauffer was born January 24, 1916 in Harrisburg to the late Chester C. and Myra (Jackson) Byler. She was the widow of Evan E. Stauffer, Sr. and is survived by two sons, Evan E., Jr. of Boothwyn, PA and David M. and wife Janice of Jarrettsville, MD.; and a grandson Andrew Stauffer. A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, August 7, 2006 in Bethany Village East. Memorial contributions may be made to her church at 417 S. 22nd Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
