Shooting -- Joseph Curbean, 43, was shot in the right leg about 2 a.m. Friday by a man he was arguing with during a card game in a house in the 1700 block of Dundalk Ave. He was released after treatment at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Police were seeking the gunman.
Shooting -- Derrick Whitby, 25, was walking in the 2600 block of McElderry St. about 3 a.m. Saturday when someone fired a shot that struck him in the right leg. Whitby was released after treatment at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Theft -- A 48-year-old woman was sleeping while sitting on the front steps of her home in the 1500 block of Madison Ave. about 3 p.m. Saturday when someone stole her purse containing more than $100.
Theft -- Two air conditioners - each valued at $3,000 - were stolen Saturday from a house under renovation in the 3700 block of Springdale Ave.
Theft -- Two bicycles, each with training wheels, were stolen Saturday from in front of a house in the 2700 block of W. Belvedere Ave.
Armed robbery -- A gunman entered Bowman's Restaurant in the 9300 block of Harford Road about 12:30 a.m. Saturday and forced an employee to give him the contents of a cash register.
Robbery -- A 29-year-old man was walking along Joppa Road near Magledt Road about 11 p.m. Friday when he was stopped by another man who asked for a cigarette. Before the victim could respond, the other man struck him in the head and stole his wallet.
Robbery -- Police were seeking two men, one armed with a knife, who robbed a High's store in the 15300 block of Hanover Pike of an undisclosed sum of money about 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
