Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Assault/arrest -- After two motorists were involved in a near-collision about 9:20 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of St. Paul St., one pointed a handgun at the other. The gunman was followed by the other driver, who called police and directed them to the suspect's vehicle. Arrested and charged with assault by pointing a handgun was Thomas Woodall, 53, of Fulton, Mo.

Theft -- Six computers - together valued at $21,000 - were stolen Tuesday from a law firm on the 13th floor of a building in the 100 block of S. Charles St.


Theft -- A black motorized scooter valued at $1,900 was stolen Monday from the rear yard of a house in the 1000 block of N. Payson St.


Theft -- Someone jacked up a Cadillac parked in the 2000 block of Ganley Drive between June 24 and Tuesday and removed a 16-inch tire and its wheel.

Baltimore County

Robbery/arrests -- An 80-year-old man was about to give two women $70 for food stamps in the 3400 block of Dundalk Ave. about 1 p.m. Tuesday when one of them snatched the money from his grasp and both fled. Arrested and charged with robbery were Jessica Maroney and Jamie Humphrey, both 29, of the 3500 block of McShane Way.

Burglary -- Video games, a television, 20 digital video discs and a trombone - all valued at $7,175 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3300 block of Yorkway.
