Shooting -- Police were seeking the person who shot a 28-year-old man about 1 a.m. Friday in the 3300 block of Woodland Ave. The victim, whose name was not released, was shot several times and was lying in the dirt next to a fence when police arrived. Yesterday, the man was reported in serious condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Anyone with information is asked to call district detectives at 410-396-2466.
Shootings -- Two men were shooting at each other in the 900 block of N. Monroe St. about 5 a.m. Friday when their bullets missed each other and struck two people walking nearby. A 31-year-old man hit in the right heel was treated at St. Agnes Hospital. A 17-year-old boy was shot in both arms and treated at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police found 13 shell casings at the scene.
Robbery -- A 21-year-old man was walking his dog in the first block of Richmar Road about 3:30 a.m. Saturday when three men, one armed with a handgun, robbed him of $700 and his earrings.
Burglary -- A male relative broke into a house in the 3300 block of Parktowne Road Friday through a basement door and stole $130. The intruder left a note asking the occuplants not to call the police. They did.
Vandalism -- A mailbox outside a house in the 1300 block of Freeland Road was nearly destroyed about 4 p.m. Saturday by someone who placed an explosive device inside and lit its fuse.
