Who has been the Orioles' biggest disappointment the first half of the season?
It's unfair probably, but I'd have to say pitching coach Leo Mazzone. Everyone had high hopes he'd be a miracle worker, and then the reality of the staff's actual talent level became woefully evident.
Clearly the biggest disappointment is Peter Angelos, for his stubborn refusal to sell the team, condemning us to perennial fourth-place finishes and killing off all the enthusiasm and love we have had for our hometown team.

The answer is Peter Angelos. Unless the Orioles sign a paycheck for $10 million-plus a year for a starting pitcher, the answer will be the same for next year, too. Bats are great to watch, but arms win pennants.
