Joe Crede, third baseman, White Sox -- He is 10-for-20 with three homers, 10 RBIs and nine runs in his past four games. The career .255 hitter is batting .307 with 12 homers and 48 RBIs.

Matt Holliday, outfielder, Rockies -- He is garnering serious All-Star consideration with a .352 average to go along with 15 homers and 52 RBIs. Holliday is hitting .426 in June and is 8-for-14 in his past four games.

Zach Miner, starter, Tigers -- The 24-year-old won his first major league game June 10 and has not lost since. In his past three starts, Miner is 3-0 and has allowed three earned runs in 22 innings.


Travis Hafner, designated hitter, Indians -- Cleveland's slugger is 4-for-25 with a homer and two RBIs in his past seven games. On the season, he's batting .300 with 19 homers and 57 RBIs.

Hanley Ramirez, shortstop, Marlins -- Florida's rookie got off to a hot start this year but has cooled down considerably in June. He is batting .127 this month and has two hits in his past 36 at-bats.

Livan Hernandez, starter, Nationals -- Washington's veteran pitcher has lost three straight and given up 11 earned runs in his past two outings. In Hernandez's last start against the Red Sox, he was pulled after 1 2/3 innings.
