Shooting -- A 33-year-old woman was shot in the stomach as she walked toward a bus stop in the first block of N. Highland Ave. about 5:15 a.m. Saturday. Police said it appeared the woman was hit by a stray bullet during a shootout between two men. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center; the two men remained at large.
Theft -- A stereo radio valued at $450 was stolen Sunday from a 1994 Toyota parked in the 1000 block of S. Potomac St.
Homicide arrest -- Steven Fleary of the first block of Benkert Ave. was arrested last week in Brooklyn, N.Y., by police and U.S. marshals on a Baltimore warrant charging him with first-degree murder. Fleary, 54, is accused of shooting Deangelo Spencer, 24, on April 10 in the 3300 block of Old Frederick Road.
Victim named -- John Blackburn, 28, of the 3000 block of Arunah Ave. was identified yesterday as the man fatally shot Saturday morning in the 2800 block of Ellicott Drive.
Victim identified -- Eric Knight, 26, of the 2800 block of The Alameda was identified yesterday as the man fatally shot Sunday morning during an argument with an unknown man outside a liquor store in the 1600 block of N. Smallwood St.
Arrest -- Police in Newton, N.C., arrested Steven Graham of the 500 block of Annabel Ave. last week on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Graham, 32, is accused of shooting Donta Roberts, 28, in the 4900 block of Litchfield Ave. on June 2.
Stabbing -- A 24-year-old man was walking in the 200 block of Water St. about 2 a.m. Sunday when he was attacked by another man and stabbed in the chest. The victim was treated at Mercy Medical Center. No arrest had been made.
Theft -- Kitchen supplies and clothing valued at $710 were stolen Sunday from a 2004 Honda parked in the 1000 block of N. Calvert St.
Theft -- A purse containing a wallet, camera and cell phone - all valued at $744 - was stolen Sunday from a 2006 Toyota parked in a garage in the first block of W. Franklin St.
Burglary -- A garden tiller valued at $500 was stolen Wednesday from a shed in the 1900 block of Sulphur Spring Road. The burglary was reported Sunday.
Robbery -- Police were seeking two men, one armed with a handgun, who robbed a Royal Farms store in the 500 block of Edmondson Ave. of less than $100 and cigarettes about 8 p.m. Saturday.
Robbery -- A gunman robbed the 7-Eleven in the 8600 block of Old Harford Road of less than $60 about 5 a.m. Sunday.
Burglary/vandalism -- A 14-year-old boy was arrested Saturday night outside Christ Evangelical Church in the 16500 block of Trenton Church Road and charged as a juvenile with breaking into the building moments earlier and spraying the interior with a fire extinguisher. No property was reported missing.
Stolen vehicle -- A red, four-door 1995 Mitsubishi Mirage with tags 5AC W56 was stolen over the weekend in the 9700 block of Bon Haven Court.
Robbery -- A 15-year-old was walking in the 200 block of Reisterstown Road about 8:30 p.m. Sunday when another young male he knew grabbed him around the neck and robbed him of several video games.
