Susan L. Gervasio, director of client relations for a health care company and a former medical secretary, died of leukemia Sunday at Johns Hopkins Hospital. The Pasadena resident was 48.
She was born Susan List in Baltimore and raised in Linthicum. She was a graduate of Andover High School and a Glen Burnie secretarial school.
Mrs. Gervasio had been a medical office administrator for a decade starting in the late 1980s, then worked for Self Funding Administrators.
Since 2001, she had been director of client relations for Health Care Strategies in Elkridge.
Mrs. Gervasio enjoyed growing flowers and herbs, and was a member of the Ann Arrundell County Historical Society.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 800 W. Maple Road, Linthicum, where she was a member.
Surviving are her husband of 24 years, Brian Gervasio, a security system installer; a son, David B. Gervasio, and daughter, Laura S. Gervasio, both of Pasadena; her parents, William and Charlotte "Susie" List of Linthicum; and two sisters, Nancy Booth of Virginia Beach, Va., and Linda Hoffman of Bowie.
