MARY CECELIA CASEY, age 52 of Neptune, NJ, passed away on June 6, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer and multiple sclerosis at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She was known for her smile and cheerful personality, she did all she could to help others, and enjoyed going to work every day. She was born in Baltimore, MD and lived in Neptune, NJ for the past 26 years. She received her bachelors degree from Towson State University in Towson, MD and her Masters Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. She worked for the US Government at Ft. Monmouth as a logistician with CECOM, the US Army Communications Electronic Command for 26 years. She was also very involved with her children. Her fondest memories were her time spent as a Brownie Troop Leader for her daughters at Ft. Monmouth and as a CCD teacher at the Holy Innocents Church at Neptune, NJ, where she was an active parishioner. She was a loving wife and mother. Mary is survived by her devoted husband Brian Casey of Neptune, NJ, her daughters Colleen Casey, 23, of Neptune, NJ and Erin Casey, 19, of Neptune, NJ and her brothers Gerard J. Fulda of Wilmington, DE and John C. Fulda of Davie, FL. Friends and family may call on Thursday, June 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Ely Funeral Home, 3316 State Route 33, Neptune, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary's Church in Govans, MD at 1:15 p.m. with Rev. Michael Kelley officiating. Interment will follow at the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Baltimore, MD. A memorial mass will held at Holy Innocents Church in Neptune, NJ on June 15, 2006 at 7:30 p.m.
