May death of Baltimore woman ruled a homicide


The death of a woman whose body was found May 28 in her apartment in Baltimore's Remington neighborhood has been ruled a homicide by the state medical examiner's office, city police said yesterday.

Anuradha Ranasany, 25, of the 300 block of W. 31st St. was found dead about 3 p.m. that day by a man police described as her boyfriend.

Police declined to describe the manner of death or how long the woman had been dead. Police know of no motive for the slaying, and no arrest has been made.

Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
