The body of a man who apparently was shot late Saturday was found yesterday morning in the rear yard of a house in Fells Point, police said.

Shortly before 7 a.m., Southeastern District officers were summoned to the yard in the 200 block of S. Broadway, where Donye Blackston, 22, of the 5700 block of Plainfield Ave. was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body, said homicide Detective James Lloyd.

Moses said police had received a 911 call about 11:30 p.m. Saturday for shots fired in the area but had not found a victim of the gunfire. Lloyd said the body was concealed by a fence and could not be seen from the alley.

About 2:50 p.m. Saturday, 32- year-old Darnell A. Spearman was gunned down at Caroline and Federal streets in East Baltimore. Spearman, of the 1500 block of E. Lafayette St., had multiple wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
