Bock drives O's in ninth

JUPITER, Fla. -- Catcher Brian Bock chopped a two-run single over the head of St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Deivi Cruz in the ninth inning to break a tie and give the Orioles a 4-2 victory yesterday at Roger Dean Stadium.

Fernando Tatis singled and pinch runner Esix Snead raced to third on Val Majewski's single. Brendon Fahey walked to load the bases before Bock singled against Cardinals reliever Brad Thompson. Cruz started the game at first before moving to third, and he had no play on the ball.
