Terps weather Hurricanes

THE BALTIMORE SUN

College Park -- Earlier this season, Miami had wounded Maryland's pride. Last night, when the seniors were propelled by the emotion of playing perhaps their final game at Comcast Center, the Terps had a chance to restore it.

The intangibles were stacked in Maryland's favor, but it was the team's visibly gritty defense and accurate free-throw shooting down the stretch that helped the Terps edge Miami, 65-61, and prove this season isn't over.
