An article in Sunday's Howard County edition of The Sun incorrectly attributed a quote in the article about plans for a joint venture in maintaining Columbia's Town Center. Phil Marcus, Columbia Association representative for Kings Contrivance said: "In Baltimore, the city cannot afford to do all the maintenance and policing that the downtown commercial interest would like ... and so the private interests have come together to put together a pot of money. This relieves some of the burden on the city. ... I don't know why Howard County and CA would get involved in providing maintenance on private property."

The Sun regrets the error.
