Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Arrest -- Corey Jones, 17, of the 200 block N. Gilmor St., was served with an arrest warrant charging him as an adult with first-degree murder. Jones and two others, Michael Lynn, 15, of the 500 block of McMechen St., and Davon Jones, 18, of the 500 block of N. Belnord St., are charged in the shooting of Kwane Walker, 16, during a drug dispute about 2:30 p.m. Feb. 17 in the 1600 block of Druid Hill Ave., police said. Each is being held at the Central Booking and Intake Center.


Assault/arrest -- Jule Perry, a 20-year-old man who lives in the 1400 block of Aisquith St., and a woman, Latoria Slaughter, 20, of the 1600 block of Bakbury Court, were arguing in the woman's house yesterday afternoon when Perry was stabbed in the neck, right arm and shoulder with a 10-inch kitchen knife. Slaughter was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon. Perry was treated at a hospital.

Arrest -- Dewan Holmes, 17, whose address was not available, was arrested Tuesday in the 1100 block of W. Lexington St. on a warrant charging him as an adult with armed robbery. Holmes is accused of robbing Andre Johnson of $45 and a watch at gunpoint Feb. 5 in the 300 block of N. Calhoun St.


Officers assaulted/arrest -- Tyrell J. Watson, 22, is accused of assaulting police officers who were trying to arrest him Wednesday on a charge of assaulting his 30-year-old former girlfriend near his home in the 1100 block of Orleans St. Police subdued him with a chemical irritant. He was also charged with assaulting the officers and resisting arrest.

Stolen vehicle -- A gold-colored 2001 Chrysler Concord with tags MTL 810 was stolen Wednesday in the 1600 block of E. Lanvale St.


Theft -- A car stereo receiver, compact discs, a charger and tools - all valued at $5,000 - were stolen Wednesday from a 1998 Plymouth Neon parked in the 1100 block of Cooks Lane.

Stolen vehicle -- A gray 1989 Oldsmobile with tags LCY 339 was stolen Wednesday in the 600 block of N. Augusta Ave.

Stolen vehicle -- The person who rented a 2006 Chevrolet Impala was charged with leaving a car unattended with its engine running after it was stolen in the 600 block of N. Chapelgate Lane on Wednesday. The vehicle's tag number was 7AJ V10.

Stolen vehicle -- A silver-colored 2003 Chrysler Sebring with tags 5AT N89 was stolen Wednesday in the 700 block of Allendale Road.

Theft from vehicle -- Digital video discs and a DVD changer were stolen Wednesday from a 2003 Mack truck parked in the 300 block of N. Franklintown Road.


Theft -- Police were seeking a man who entered Rent-A-Center in the 3500 block of Eastern Ave. on Wednesday and stole a laptop computer valued at nearly $1,500 from the counter.

Burglary -- Jewelry valued at $1,500 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 300 block of Hornel St.

Theft from vehicle -- Someone broke into a 1999 Ford truck parked in the first block of N. Central Ave. on Wednesday and stole several books, computer accessories, a cell phone and a compact-disc changer - all valued at nearly $800.

Stolen vehicle -- An orange 2000 Ford Focus with tags HAZ 868 was stolen Wednesday in the first block of N. Washington St.

Theft -- A purse containing cash and a checkbook was stolen Wednesday from a 2000 Dodge Caravan parked in the 3300 block of McElderry St. by someone who broke a window.

Baltimore County

North Point

Assault/arrest -- A resident of the 6800 block of Dunbar Road is accused of pointing a shotgun at her daughter's 19-year-old former boyfriend during an argument about 3 p.m. Wednesday at her home. Arrested and charged with first-degree assault was Linda Smith, 50.


Robbery -- A 46-year-old woman was walking along Tarragon Road near Franklin Boulevard about 9 p.m. Wednesday when she was assaulted by a man who robbed her of $16 and the backpack she was carrying.
