Whole Foods offers cooking classes

Whole Foods Market is offering cooking classes:

Tomorrow, 7 p.m., makeup session for snowed-out cheesecake class. The cost is $10.

Tuesday, 7 p.m., "Ethnic Gourmet: Cajun Delights." Free.

The store is at 2504 Solomons Island Road in Annapolis. Registration is required. 410-573-1800.

Conflict resolution courses scheduled

The Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center is offering two 15-hour courses on getting along with co-workers and family members and on communications skills for partners and parents.

Part 1, which started Jan, 24, deals with conflict, listening to and hearing others, and confronting and handling unacceptable behavior. Part 2 will deal with exploring needs, wants and relationships, setting goals and helping others meet their needs.

Classes are held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays at the center's offices, Heritage Center, Suite 130, 2666 Riva Road, Annapolis. Part 2 runs March 21 through April 25. There will be no class April 18. Each course costs $135 and includes materials. 410-266-9033.

Classes offered on sports health

The Annapolis Recreation and Parks Department is offering these classes on sports health at the Recreation Center Gym:

Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., toddler and preschooler open gym for age 5 and younger. Slides, tunnels, mats and balls. Drop-in fee: $2.

Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., introduction to soccer for ages 4 to 6. Fee: $55.

Saturdays, 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., "First Kicks" (soccer basics) for ages 3 and 4 with a parent. Fee: $45.
