Assault -- Police were seeking a man who struck another man outside a bar in the 800 block of S. Linwood Ave. about 2 a.m. Saturday, causing the victim to strike his head on a curb. The victim, a resident of Charles County, suffered an injury to the brain and was listed in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Shooting -- A 26-year-old man was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center after an unknown assailant shot him in the left leg about 4:30 a.m. Saturday in the 3400 block of Esther Place. Anyone with information was asked to call Detective William Taylor at 410-396-2429.
Burglary/arrests -- A 19-year-old man and a boy, 15, were arrested yesterday after a foot pursuit by police and charged with breaking into L & M Liquors in the 1100 block of E. North Ave. moments earlier and stealing several bottles of liquor. Michael Johnson of the 1200 block of E. Federal St. was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center, and the boy at the Juvenile Detention Center. The liquor was recovered.
Carjacking -- After parking her gold 2005 Ford Explorer at a gas station in the 7300 block of McClean Blvd. about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, a 36-year-old woman was forced from the vehicle by a man who drove it away - along with her purse containing $325. The sport utility vehicle had tags 599M566.
Burglary/arrests -- Two teenage boys were arrested Saturday and charged as juveniles with breaking into a house in the first block of Edgemoor Road that day and stealing two cell phones, a cell phone charger, computer equipment and $8.
Burglary -- Twenty decorative plates and video games - all valued at nearly $500 - were stolen from a shed in the 3600 block of Sollers Point Road between Feb. 1 and Friday.
