Brushing up on maritime history


A group of students at Broadneck High School spent some time after school recently working on their school's entry in Anne Arundel County's "Sailing Into the Arts" project. Their sculpture of a skipjack featured portraits of historical figures Anne Arundel and Cecil Calvert as well as two Native Americans. Sculptures from 15 county schools are to be displayed this spring.
