Capital Gazette wins special Pulitzer Prize citation for coverage of newsroom shooting that killed five



HILDA E. (TAYLOR) STIELPER, 91, of Harrisburg, PA died Sunday, February 12, 2006 at Homeland Center in Harrisburg, PA. She was born December 9, 1914 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Samuel M. and Eva J. (West) Taylor. She was the widow of Fred W. Stielper and is survived by daughter Martha Lynn Brown and husband Thomas F. of Lancaster, PA, daughter Janetta Ruth Brenner and husband Richard S. of Harrisburg, sister Janetta W. Bowers of Harrisburg; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, February 16, 2006 from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Dauphin, PA on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Edward Quinlan, III, as Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to St. Margaret Mary School, 2848 Herr Street, Harrisburg, PA 17103 or to St. Leo the Great School, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA 17601.
