Ink paintings

A new exhibit at Towson University, International Modern Ink Painting, includes ink and brush pieces by 15 international artists. Using ink and water, the artists explore concepts such as politics, culture, spirituality, life and death. International Modern Ink Painting opens Saturday and runs through March 17. There will be a reception 3 p.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is in Towson University's Center for the Arts, at Osler and Cross Campus drives. The university is at 8000 York Road in Towson.
