Rosenbaum is nominated for panel


Gary L. Rosenbaum, a longtime Howard County resident and businessman, has been nominated to the Planning Board.

If confirmed by the County Council, he would fill the vacancy created in December when Jennifer R. Terrasa resigned to run for the County Council.

Rosenbaum is a planner by training, but for 25 years he has operated a businesses - Party, Party, Party, a chain of stores, which he has sold, and Panache Papers, a stationery shop in The Mall in Columbia.

Rosenbaum has a bachelor's degree in conservation and resource development from the University of Maryland, College Park and a master's degree in regional planning from the University of Michigan.
