Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Arrest: Kevin Garnett, 22, was arrested Friday at his home in the 5000 block of Truesdale Ave. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force. He is charged with first-degree murder in the Aug. 6 killing of Theodore N. Ross, 21, of the 1300 block of N. Milton Ave.

Southern District

Arrest: Responding to a reported theft from a Ford Ranger in the 700 block of E. Patapsco Ave. Sunday, an officer spotted a man fleeing, arrested him and recovered tools valued at $200. Charged with theft was Shane Adams, 25, of Glen Burnie.

Southeastern District

Burglary: A 20-inch TV, a digital video disc player, stereo equipment and two clocks - all worth $2,275 - were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 400 block of Gusryan St.

Central District

Boat burglary: Someone entered a cabin cruiser docked in the 500 block of Light St. at Harborplace early Sunday while the occupants were asleep and stole a digital camera, digital video disc player, two cellular phones, 15 compact discs and cash - all worth $1,308.

Robbery: A 56-year-old woman was knocked to the ground in the 600 block of N. Howard St. about 9:20 a.m. Sunday by a man who stole $400 in property and cash.

Theft: A digital camera, clothing and a cellular phone - all valued at nearly $1,000 - were stolen Sunday from a 1998 Volkswagen Jetta parked in the 600 block of Cathedral St.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Robbery: A man, 32, was assaulted outside a Royal Farms store in the 1600 block of Middleborough Road about 3:30 a.m. Sunday. An apparently unarmed male robbed him of three pieces of chicken and a beverage.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a kiosk at Towson Town Center late Saturday night in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road and stole several pieces of jewelry and $100.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a guest's room at Executive Stay Hotel in the 9700 block of Beaver Dam Road over the weekend and stole a laptop computer and a camcorder.

Franklin Precinct

Burglaries: Police believe one person broke into three Asian food outlets in the 10300 and 11100 blocks of Reisterstown Road early Sunday and stole cash.
